Pedego has equipped the Interceptor with a 48 volt lithium battery, a suspension seat post, 12 gauge spoked wheels and Shwalbe Fat Frank Balloon tires. Like the other Pedego electric bicycles, the Interceptor is a high performance electric bicycle powered by Pedego's brushless and gearless 500 watt motor hub motor. The extra torque provided by the 48 Volt system, allows you to climb hills at faster speeds than electric bicycles with 36 Volt batteries.
