ELV Motors Return Policy


Thank you for your recent order. Your satisfaction is important to us. Inspect and check your items as soon as possible. Customers must notify us within 48 hours of receiving damaged merchandise. No returns or exchanges after 30 days from delivery date. Please follow the following steps if you would like to exchange or return an item.

1. Returned Items (please include your order # and list the items you are returning) a. Item must be returned with 3 days from the date that you received the product or the item will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. b. All returns must have an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number. Email info@ELVMotors.com, Mon-Fri 9:30 am to 4:30 pm (PST) to obtain an RMA number. NO EXCEPTIONS! c. Returns without an RMA number will be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee. d. All returns must be in its original packaging (in new and unused condition). e. No return will be authorized in the event damage occurs to products resulting from a customer return and not all returns with an RMA will be accepted for a refund / credit.

2. Exchanged Items a. Exchanged items do not require an RMA. b. New shipping charges will apply for exchange orders.

4. Shipping Charge a. Orders that have received free shipping due to a Free Shipping promotion or other discounts may have shipping assessed on the original order if the return causes the total sales amount to fall below the promotional amount. b. All Shipping charges are non-refundable.


Ultra Motors USA Warranty

Ultra Motor USA warrants to the original purchaser of each new Ultra Motor Light Electric Vehicle that the following components will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period indicated:



Model: A2B

• Frame: Lifetime warranty for original purchaser

• Motor system (motor and controller): Two years from the date of purchase

• Lithium ion battery: Two year warranty (pro-rated after first year)

• Expendables such as tires, tubes, brake pads, and grips are not included

• All other components: One year from date of purchase



Model: Europa

• Frame: Lifetime warranty for original purchaser

• Motor system (motor and controller): Two years from the date of purchase

• Lithium ion battery: Two year warranty (pro-rated after first year)

• Expendables such as tires, tubes, brake pads, and grips are not included

• All other components: One year from date of purchase



Model: Portia

• Frame: Lifetime warranty for original purchaser

• Motor system (motor and controller): Two years from the date of purchase

• Lead acid battery: One year, provided that battery has been properly maintained

• Expendables such as tires, tubes, brake pads, and grips are not included

• All other components: One year from date of purchase



Required Assembly When Purchased:

An authorized Ultra Motor USA dealer is required to assemble your Ultra Motor USA brand electric vehicle, without charge, at the time of purchase.



Limited Remedy:

Unless otherwise provided, the sole remedy under the above warranty, or any implied warranty, is limited to the replacement of defective components and parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of Ultra Motor USA. You, the customer, will be responsible for labor costs associated with warranty replacements. In no event shall Ultra Motor USA be responsible for direct, incidental or consequential damages, including, without limitation, damages for personal injury, property damage, or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, product liability, or any other theory. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Exclusions:

The above warranty or any implied warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. All warranties are void if the electric vehicle is used for other than normal activities, including, but not limited to, failing to follow the owner’s manual or using the electric vehicle for commercial activities or in competitive events, and training for such activities or events. Ultra Motor USA makes no other warranties, express or implied. All implied warranties, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to that of the express warranties stated above. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.



How to file a warranty claim:

Bring your electric vehicle, along with a purchase receipt or other proof of purchase, to an Authorized Ultra Motor USA vehicle dealer or contact Ultra Motor USA directly.


UrbanMover Warranty


Returns/Guarantees Policy
Guarantee
UrbanMover guarantee the frame, wheels, footplates, motors, chargers and control gear across our entire range of bikes and scooters for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. This guarantee does not include general wear and tear, or faults caused by misuse, including but not exclusively - dropping the scooter or bike on to the handlebars, resulting in broken brakes or throttles, broken lights, worn brakes etc. However, If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, e.g. the item you have ordered is faulty on arrival, defective or you have had a change of heart, then you must return it to us unused and in its original condition within 14 days for a prompt replacement, exchange or refund.

After the initial 14-day period, UrbanMover reserves the right to send you either replacement parts for standard items (which we expect you to fit) including brakes, cables, fixings etc. In the unlikely event that the fault is major, UrbanMover will decide to either refer you to one of our dealers for repair (local to your area) or opt to return the product to UrbanMover for either replacement or repair.

Batteries are guaranteed for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.

Limited Liability / Entire Written Warranty No authorized eMoto, LLC dealer, agent, or employee is authorized to extend or enlarge this warranty on behalf of eMoto, LLC by any written or verbal representation or warranty and if made, such representation or warranty shall not be enforceable against eMoto, LLC or any other person. To the full extent allowed by law, the foregoing warranty is the only and entire warranty given by eMoto, LLC for this vehicle and is in lieu of, and excludes all other representations, warranties, or conditions, whether expressed or implied.

Disclaimer of Liability



Except to the extend ratified in the warranty, eMoto, LLC shall not be liable in contract, tort, or otherwise for any direct, indirect, economic, commercial, incidental, consequential or special loss or damage or expense or claim howsoever caused, arising in connection with the sale, use, loss of use, performance or non-performance of the vehicle (including, without limitation, expenses and liability to any other person).



Notice to Consumers



The terms contained in this written warranty are not intended to limit, modify, take away from, disclaim or exclude any warranty or protection guaranteed by law. To the extent that any applicable law prohibits any term contained in the warranty, such term shall be severable and deleted from this warranty.

TO QUALIFY FOR THIS WARRANTY: The sales registration card must be completed and mailed to eMoto, LLC within one (1) week of delivery of the vehicle to the original purchaser.



1. Ensure, at her/his own expense, that the vehicle has had all routine maintenance inspections and service outlined in the owners manual; and to maintain adequate evidence that such services has been conducted (e.g.: receipts or invoices).

IT IS THE OWNERS RESPONSIBILITY TO: Obtain from the authorized eMoto, LLC dealer from which the vehicle was purchased a signed copy of the Warranty Registration Form, and the appropriate owners manual for the model and year purchased.



IMPORTANT NOTE: Your copy of the Warranty Registration form serves as your identification document for Warranty Claims, and must be presented to the dealer to obtain service. eMoto / Urban Mover Power Assist Bicycle Warranty eMoto, LLC offers the following limited warranty on each new e- Moto or Urban Mover brand electric power assist bicycle (hereinafter “vehicle”) prepared and sold in the United States that is registered and normally operated in the United States. e-Moto, LLC warrants that, under normal use and maintenance, each new vehicle will be free from defect in material and workmanship for a term of no more than one (1) year. Batteries are exempt from the above provision and are warranted to be free from material defect and workmanship for the term of no more that one (1) year from the date of original purchase. Bicycle frames are warranted to be free from defect and workmanship for a term of ten (10) years from date of original purchase. For a vehicle, which is used as demonstrator by an authorized eMoto, LLC dealer, the applicable term of the warranty begins the first day the vehicle saw use as a demonstrator. Any remaining segment of the warranty term that is still valid may be transferred to a subsequent retail purchaser subject to the terms, limitations, conditions, and exclusions contained in this warranty.

THE WARRANTY IS SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS, CONDITIONS, LIMITATIONS, AND EXCLUSIONS:

eMoto, LLC WARRANTY OBLIGATION

If any defect should be discovered in this vehicle within the warranty term stated above, eMoto, LLC only obligation is to have the defective part repaired or replaced at eMoto’s option, with a new part or its equivalent, when eMoto, LLC verifies and acknowledges that such defects are attributable to a faulty material or workmanship from the time of manufacture. All parts replaced under warranty immediately become the property of eMoto, LLC and, if requested, must be returned at the customer’s expense. The vehicle owner is completely responsible for all repairs or replacements that are not covered under this warranty. Additionally, eMoto, LLC reserves the right to charge a deposit, or core charge, for certain major systems replaced under warranty. eMoto, LLC reserves the rights to add to, improve, change, or supersede the design of any model or part at anytime without obligation to make the same improvements to models previously sold.



EXCLUSIONS – ITEMS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY This warranty explicitly DOES NOT COVER



(1) Normal maintenance services, including without limitation, adjustments to brakes the following:

(2) Any part of the vehicles paint or other finishes.

(3) The replacement of normal wearing parts, including without limitation, all rubber parts (except engine oil seals), gaskets, light bulbs, lenses, wires, cables, fuses, tires, tubes, brake linings, hardware, hoses, and plastic parts.

(4) Any vehicle that has been used for competition, racing, or rental.

(5) Any repairs or replacements required as a result of accident or collision.

(6) Any repairs or replacement required as a result of misuse, negligence, abnormal or insufficient care.

(7) Any repairs or replacements required as a result of modifications or alterations made to the vehicle including, without limitation, the installation of performance accessories

(8) Any repairs or replacements required as a result of the use of parts or accessories not approved by eMoto, LLC.

(10) Any repairs or replacements required as a result of the vehicle not having received, during the warranty term, the service inspections prescribed in the eMoto Owners Manual.

(11) Any Vehicle that has been used for purposes other that what it was designed for.

(12) Any vehicle that has had its load capacity exceeded of either weight or persons.

(13) Any and all shipping damage is not a responsibility of the manufacturer, and must be pursued with the shipping company at the dealer’s expense. Warranty Claim Instructions To submit a claim to eMoto, LLC for warranty approval, you must first completely fill out the warranty approval and claim form. No other form will be accepted, if one is not available to you, please call eMoto, LLC immediately for a replacement. Once completed email or fax the claim to eMoto, LLC and wait for confirmation and approval. Failure to complete these steps exactly will result in the denial of the claim. Please remember that all parts replaced under warranty immediately become the property of eMoto, LLC and, upon request, must be returned to eMoto, LLC at your expense. You must hold warranty-repaired parts for 90 days. PLEASE NOTE: Any warranty claims ultimately deemed fraudulent by eMoto, LLC will be charged back to the claimant on file.
