Whether you need a brake adjustment, spoke replaced, or a major repair, we will make your bike run optimal for you. We are bike experts with the experience, knowledge, and factory training (Bosch & Shimano) to do the job right the first time.
Below is a chart with common repairs and estimated time for the repair. Please reach out to us or bring in your bike/scooter to assist you better. If you need rush service, please let us know (additional fees apply).
Service options:
Minor Tune-up (lube chain and required components, check air tires, brakes, derailleur(s), and if components are tight) - 30 mins.
Major Tune-up (includes minor tune-up and further into bike inspection to see if components are worn-out) - 1 hr.
Drivetrain overhaul (replace freewheel/cassette, chain, drive sprocket) - 45 min. to 1.5 hrs.
Brake overhaul - 30 min.
Detail bike - 1-2 hrs depending on the grime. We clean burning man bikes.
Wheels:
Flat tire repair including either tube or tire replacement (front no motor within wheel 30 min. and rear with motor is 45 min.)
Replace broken spoke and wheel true - 30 min. to 1 hr.
Wheel true – 30 min. to 1 hr.
Wheel tensioning, dishing, and truing - 1-2 hrs.
Wheel building - 1-5 hrs.
Brakes:
Replace brake cable(s) or hose(s) - 30 min. to 1.5 hrs.
Replace brake shoes or pads - 30 - 45 min. per set
Brake bleed - 30 min. to 1 hr. per brake assembly
Disc brake rotor truing - 30 - 45 min.
Drivetrain:
Clean and lube - 30 min.
Drivetrain service (inspect, repair/replace, tune) - 30min. to 1 hr.
Cassette/Freewheel replacement - 30-45 min.
Replace chainring(s) - 30 min.
Replace bottom bracket and crankset - 45 min to 1 hr.
Adjust front/rear derailleur - 30.- 45 min.
Replace shift cable(s) - 30 min.
Remove/install pedals - 10 min.
Front End:
Adjust headset - 15 min.
Overhaul headset - 30 min. to 1 hr.
Replace headset - 30 min.
Replace grips - 15 min.
Bearings:
Overhaul headset - starting 30 min.
Overhaul/replace bottom bracket (BB) - starting 30 min.
Overhaul derailleurs - starting 30 min.
Frame & Fork:
Check/align dropouts - 30 min.
Replace forks - 1 hr.
Tune front and rear suspension (may need rider present) - 15 - 30 min
Bike Fitting:
Install rider comfort items (shoe cleats, grips, saddle, baskets, etc.) - 10 min. to 1hr.
Seat and handlebar adjustment (rider should be present) - 10 min. Free with bike purchase
